Wendy's Colorado Springs

The only reason I gave this location a 5 star is because of the cashier who took our order. His name is Michael. He was doing awesome and his manager named Amanda was treating him like crud! Very disrespectful manager to her employees. Michael was trying his best to get our order taken care of with having a disability and she obviously didn't care. Smh...

We were 3 old ladies out and about, ages 65-94. We were hungry. As we held onto each other and made out way slowly to the doors at Wendy's, we were surprised that a nice young lady came to open the doors for us. We took our time ordering, and the girl at the counter was patient. Smiling. Helpful. She helped us get everything we wanted, including pretzel hamburgers with everything, a baked potato with everything, and a sweet strawberry confection. When it came time to get the food to our booth, another young lady came out from behind the counter and carried Mom's food to our table, as she uses a cane. The food was magnificent. As we ate, one of the girls would come by the table like we were at a 5-star restaurant and check on us to make sure everything was okay. They even helped us pack up. All three of us have never been treated so well at a fast food restaurant. I highly recommend the food and the service at the Academy Blvd and Austin Bluffs Parkway location in Colorado Springs. It can be hard to get around and do things as you get older. I don't think we'll ever go anywhere else!
